At home in Donegal I perform music regularly with harpist Mary Crossin (my wife) and a host of other fantastic local musicians who can be found at the many Theatres and traditional music sessions dotted around the County of Donegal.

Mary and I - Harp and Uilleann pipes, the sound of Ireland!

We were asked to record this segment for Na Píobairí Uilleann, the organiization dedicated to the promotion of the Irish Uilleann pipes and its music. It’s Headquarters are at 15 Henrietta Street, Dublin.

Probably the first time I heard the uilleann pipes was on Mike Oldfield’s Ommadawn. I was honoured to be asked to perform at the 50th anniversary 2025 event at Gladestry.

I’ll be joining some fantastic international musicians this September to celebrate the music of Mike Oldfield and perform his classic works ‘Tubular Bells’ and ‘Hergest Ridge’ among other pieces.

Featuring Manus Lunny, Bríd Harper, Martin Crossin, Theresa Kavanagh and Ian Smith.

Lots of festivals happening this summer. 17th June 2022 I’ll be playing in Falcarragh.

Always great to be asked back to perform with Ian Smith at Music Venue Blake’s Bar, Letterkenny.

Belfast Musician Phil Hart asked me to add Pipes and Whistles to this track - check it out!

Ballyshannon Musician, Mark Langan, asked me to add Uilleann Pipes and Low Whistles to his Debut Album and we had a fantastic launch at the beginning of 2022 in The Abbey Theatre. Have a listen !
